Hand Crafted Hopi
Wicker Doll’s Cradle
Circa: Mid-20th Century
12 inches long x 5 1/2 inches deep x 6 1/2 inches wide
The wicker colors are slightly faded, and there is a messy attachment at the top of the cradle ring (Made from Yucca) which may be an old native repair. This is a good example of a Hopi Wicker Dolls cradle. Older ones like this are uncommon. This basket came from a New Mexico collection.
